We are looking for a Web Front-End Developer

Responsibilities:

• Work with the founders on cutting edge mobile web applications in the gaming and betting space
• Code Javascript-heavy single-page applications that run on modern browsers
• Be involved in everything from concept and architecture to implementation and deployment
• Be an integral and important part of the company
• Join a startup team of top-notch engineers who previously worked at Google and Microsoft, and have computer science degrees from MIT, Cornell, and Brown

Required skills:

• Expert knowledge of Javascript and its popular libraries (jQuery, etc.)
• Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML5/CSS3)
• Experience developing single-page applications
• Solid understanding of the full web stack (e.g. HTTP/S, cookies, headers, caching)
• Ability to write responsive, reusable code for mobile web
• Ability to learn quickly and solve problems independently
• Attitude and energy to thrive in a startup environment (challenges, high risk/high reward)
• Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
• Ability to learn real fast and solve problems independently
• Team player

Desired skills:

• An eye for design
• Experience with Zepto.js, Backbone.js, and Handlebars
• Experience with Ruby-based template languages (HAML, Saas, ERB)
• Practice in agile software development (Scrum)
