Project Description:
  • The project seeks a developer who can remediate security issues, which were identified by the team using Appscan, within 4 applications. 
  • At the stage 1 only applications using classic ASP scripting language will be involved. 
  • Applications involve blend of server-side JScript and VBScript with MS SQL 2008 as database tier. 
  • The goal is to eliminate Appscan security warnings (mostly SQL Injection and cross-site scripting issues)
 
Responsibilities:
  • Work in a distributed team to remediate security issues in classic ASP applications.
 
Skills Required:
  • ASP (or JScript/VBScript experience). COM/ActiveX scripting experience is a plus. 
  • HTML & DHTML (client JScript). 
  • MS SQL or other major RDBMS experience. 
  • Familiarity with basic web application security concepts.
