About project:

On behalf of Scalepoint Ciklum is looking for Junior QA Engineer.

Scalepoint Technologies is a Danish company which makes solutions for the insurance industry. Our clients are the insurance companies located in Europe, mostly in Scandinavia. They use our solutions to reduce costs of claims in auto, building and content insurance domains.

Our main office is located in Copenhagen and we have about 50 people working there: business people, support and IT Operations. IT development is done in Kharkov, Ukraine (Ciklum) and partially in Manila, Philippines. We are extending our team in Ukraine to handle all IT development in the future.

We have a strategy of bringing our products to the next level and we incrementally improve the products by frequent releases. We use Scrum as our development process, which enables us to stay on top of our customers' needs and incrementally deliver value.

• You possess good English  language skills – both speaking and writing

Responsibility

• Work with Agile team, ensuring and improving product quality on Java solutions on sprint-by-sprint basis
• Write/validate test specifications in collaboration with product owner
• Analyze test results and submit corresponding defects/tasks for developers

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality practices and testing tools
• Knowledge of different types of testing
• Experience as a tester is a plus
• Experience in Agile software development is a plus
