IT Manager

We are currently looking for an IT Manager. As our future colleague you will be responsible for

• ensuring the well-being and smooth running of major IT systems within the hotel. These include : File & Print Servers, Email Server, Network, Telephone System
• co-ordinating the installation and implementation of new business systems with outside software and hardware vendors.
• Liaising with appropriate support organisation relating to system problems.
• Giving users First-level support in all aspects of IT.
• Maintaining user accounts with level of authorisation.
• Scheduing and performing regular data and systems back-up.
• Determining specific business system requirements by working with all users of computers in the hotel.

Personal RequirementsAs our future colleague you have:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, must be a team player, lateral thinker and eager problem solver.
• Some experience of administrating MS Windows NT Server 4.0
• Knowledge/experience of hotel systems specifically Fidelio/Opera, Micros is a benefit.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware.
• Familiarity with common applications such as Excel, Word etc.
• A basic knowledge of networking and cabling system would be beneficial but not essential.
• Some experience of unix based systems would also be beneficial but not essential.
• Fluent English, local language is considered an advantage.
