• Working in an international team performing development and support of Enhanced Base Tranceiver Station product for iDEN and Harmony wireless networking systems (combined push-To-Talk half-duplex and feature-rich full-duplex digital cellular technologies).

Responsibilities/Expectations:

• Participate in the product level requirements development and review;
• Perform bug fix, code development and unit testing;
• Perform engineering support for product field issues.

Knowledge Skills: 

• Required:
  
  • High education in SW/Systems Engineering;
  • Desire to perform development and engineering support for high tech networking systems;
  • Strong C skills, experience in programming of real time embedded systems;
  • RTOS: at least one of VxWorks, pSOS, QNX, etc;
  • Ability to analyze complex subsystem and system problems;
  • Basic UNIX skills;
  • Readiness to study telecommunication protocols and technologies;
  • Conversational, written and technical English;
  • Good teamwork skills, communication skills, ability to learn fast;
  • Ability and readiness for business trips.

• Pluses:
  
  • Experience in reverse engineering and modification of existing code;
  • Wireless networking background and/or experience;
  • Experience in software drivers, hardware interface;
  • HW skills;
  • Spectrum, protocol analyzing skills.
