External Audit
Organizations depend on IT for complete and accurate financial reporting and external auditors, in their turn, rely on IT systems and controls for an efficient and effective audit.
KPMG’s information risk management team (IRM team) work with the following parties to help them achieve their objectives:
·        Clients: To reassure shareholder interest that the IT function supports the business and is sufficiently controlled
·        Auditors: To ensure IT audit objectives are identified, tested and reported efficiently in line with KPMG Audit Methodology.
IRM team assists the audit team by providing assurance that the systems and applications used for the financial statements reporting are securely controlled and the related risks of error and fraud are minimized.
 
IT Advisory
We work with our Clients to analyze business technology issues within their businesses. A Client might approach us for assistance with:
·        IT Audit, IT Processes and Infrastructure
·        Quality review of ERP implementation projects
·        IT Controls assessment and implementation
·        IT Governance, IT Strategy and Transformation
·        IT Risk management
·        IT Security
·        Penetration testing, Ethical hacking
·        Revenue assurance
 
 
Responsibilities:
·        Participating in a broad range of IT advisory projects (mostly depending on the chosen advisory lines) as a team leader helping Clients to meet their business needs
·        Participating in audit support engagements as a supervisor to support the audit team in performing a variety of audit procedures such as obtaining an understanding of IT and addressing the risks related to application controls, including testing relevant application controls and general IT controls
·        Develop junior staff by providing on the job training
·        Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues and Clients
·        Participating in pre-sales and sales activities of advisory projects
 
Requirements:
·        Higher education (computer science, mathematical or technical)
·        Minimum 3-5 years of IT experience (system development and implementation, administration) or a solid IT audit and advisory experience
·        Knowledge and understanding of major types of information systems, their structure, means of processing, storage and transfer of information
·        Knowledge of economics and business
·        Ready to travel
·        Good command of Russian and English (oral and written)
·        Ability to develop junior stuff
·        Ability to establish strong relationships with clients
·        Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines
·        Ability to manage own time and work on several projects simultaneously
·        Ability to work independently and in a team
·        Willingness to study
 
Seen as advantages:
·        Experience in implementation or support of the ERP systems
·        Knowledge of financial accounting, Russian or international
·        Professional certifications
·        Proven skill in use of SQL (complex queries and DML), knowledge of widespread extensions
