SCM project is intended to:

• Develop and support tools for developers and build engineers for code assessment, metrics collection, auditing, build preparation;
• Setup and support configuration management systems;
• Builds creation and support for vary boxes and development teams.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:

• Working in an international team of SCM engineers;
• Writing documentation;
• New tools creation and support legacy scripts;
• Configuration management planning for vary iDEN boxes;
• Build and release preparation;
• Metrics collection;
• Communications with development teams;
• Innovations (papers, articles, patent disclosures, etc).

Specific Knowledge/Skills Required:

• UNIX user skills;
• Experience in Perl, Unix shell scripting;
• Experience with version control systems, bug tracking tools, development frameworks;
• Experience in C, gcc, code making systems;
• Good technical English, written and oral communication;
• Good teamwork skills;
• Good communication skills.

Pluses:

• Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest/ClearDDTS experience;
• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol.
