Our client is the largest preview content distribution network in Europe. Company works with 300 entertainment companies to provide content on more than 2,300 online media destinations across websites, social networks, mobile apps, and internet TV; and streams over 270M videos and distribute over 1.5B images annually. Our client offers servises for content owners  (CMS platform that delivers automatic syndication of video content across the web, mobile and other connected devices to enable editorial, ecommerce, and advertising) and also for media owners (video content integrations available as an HTML embed or XML feed solution to increase audience loyalty and drive traffic). Now they want to start a team in Kyiv.

Currently we are looking for UNIX/FreeBSD Administrator:

Required skills:

• 3+ years of experience in installing, maintaining and optimizing servers with FreeBSD;
• Strong understanding and experience installing and maintaining Postgresql databases on Unix;
• Previous experience  with cloud solutions incl. KVM and virtio drivers would be a plus;
• Knowledge of Perl language and shells scripting i.e. sh or bash will be an advantage;
• CISCO Firewalls knowledge;
• University degree in Computer science or relevant;
• English knowledge not lower than intermediate.

Main responsibilities:

• As UNIX/FreeBSD Administrator you will be responsible for identifying, correcting and/or advising on operational issues including the above and remote desktop trouble shooting;
• Internal customer support via email, phone and other electronic medium;
• Cooperation with development teams in Kyiv and Copenhagen on regular basis.
