About the company:

The client is frontrunner in the very new field of Location Based Mobile Couponing in the Netherlands. They are located in Amstelveen (near Amsterdam) in The Netherlands. A part of their Tech-Team is located in Hamburg, Germany. 
The client concept consists of a smart and easy to use smartphone App, which is at benefit for Small Business (SME), Retail Chains and consumers. The client is a traditional “coupon booklet” in a modern digital outfit, always up-to-date and always available to browse when you need it. 
Their  company was founded by a couple of experienced entrepreneurs and has just celebrated it’s first birthday. The team consists of about 35 people, mainly working on sales, marketing, customer service and IT / development. They are a team, not islands. They are professional, dynamic, highly ambitious and pro-active. 
 
About the project:
They are looking for an outstanding, experienced Android Developer to be responsible for further developing and improving the iOS App their operation. As a client Developer, you work closely with their Project Manager, Strategist and Design Team to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of their App. Programming, (a feel for) graphic design and database administration are all elements of this.
 
Requirement:
• Broad experience in design and development of Android applications
• Extensive knowledge of, and experienced in Java development
• Must possess skills in programming and optimizing SQLite-databases
• Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and striving for excellence
• Good skill of the English
