Position based in Stupino (Moscow region)/ Relocation package is available
The Enterprise system management analyst will be part of a global team responsible for the support and development of the Job Scheduling and Event Management environment.
This includes activities at the Tivoli Workload Scheduler system, EHealth, TEC, Spectrum, implementing alerting & monitoring and scheduling tools for various IT areas, infrastructure and business applications. The analyst also works closely with the incident & problem management processes to evaluate Job Schedule and Event Management opportunities and help Mars business applications and infrastructure work smarter. In addition there will be close interaction with key customers, key areas, primary support center, also advanced resolution team to ensure expectations are met.
Key Accountabilities and Activities
Technology Management
- Ensure any incidents related to ESM technologies are resolved in a timely manner and the resolution is communicated to stakeholders
- Analyze the incidents and potential risks identified by the vendors for each of the technologies and isolate the relevant problems
- Pro-actively address issues identified through the on-going monitoring of the monitored environment
- Participate in resolving problems in collaboration with the Mars IS Application teams and Technology teams as well as their deployment planning
- Execute some of the technical activities to maintain practical technical knowledge and documentation accuracy
- SPOC with TWS Off Shore team on questions related to TWS operations.
- Participate on all White board level incidents conference calls acting as team for ESM issues.
- Drive escalated issues to completion with related areas helping strengthen the inter team relationships.
- Attends all planned technical meetings.
- Communicates status and upcoming changes for TWS community.
Knowledge Management
- Work closely with the ESM development team to ensure smooth support take on of new technologies
- Maintain the team knowledge for the technical landscape including the Associate knowledge as well as all knowledge databases (e.g. wikispace, sharepoint and Lotus Notes database)
Project Management
- Participate in projects tasks closely with ESM senior analysts
Vendor Management
- Primary contact related to issues supported by vendors
Experience
- 2-3 years experience administering Linux / Unix and Windows OS
- At least basis knowledge regarding to TWS Tivoli Workload Scheduler System, and monitoring tools
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
- Familiarity with various technical OS platforms, networks and databases (e.g. Oracle).
- Operating Systems include HPUX, AIX, W2K, & Linux.
- Knowledge of IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (Maestro), Tivoli Monitoring and Tivoli Enterprise Console, topologies and concepts.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Understanding of IT support processes.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate initiative, self-reliance and proactiveness.
- Ability to work with individuals and teams across multiple cultures and time zones.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization, from operational to senior management.

- Knowledge of any other monitoring tool
- ITIL Foundation Certified
