Job Summary:

• Digital Contents Delivery / Sharing
• Researching and designing innovative convergence technologies and devices (for the mobile phone, DTVs / IPTVs, set-top boxes, PCs, digital cameras, and home appliances) to provide such a novel user experience as seamless contents-sharing and delivering, remote access, contents manipulation

Requirements:

• BASIC REQUIREMENTS
• ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
  
  • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Master of Science (MS) Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent
• PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
  
  • Proven research-and-development skills are required in the Internet, web, home networking, and multimedia areas
  • Strong programming skills in C++, C, and Java
  • Knowledge of and experience in IPTV, web, home networking, and multimedia
  • Practical knowledge of system programming (Windows, WM, Linux, device drivers)
  • Hands-on experience in contents management (such as ontology, object-oriented design, data mining, metadata, markup language, and content formats)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES
  
  • Creating and developing innovative convergence scenarios, services, and architectures for IP-enabled home and mobile devices
  • Developing a contents-sharing algorithm such as the remote UI, DNLA home networking, mobile / TV dual display, and 3-screen play
  • Developing enhanced metadata architecture for broadcasting, web contents, and extended user information (such as the life log, user experience, and emotion)
  • Developing user-data analysis and management
  • IPR development and standardization
