Job Summary:

• Digital rights management (DRM), content protection, and security development
• Designing and developing content-protection and / or security software for embedded devices such as DTVs, IPTVs, cellular phones, BD players, set-top boxes, and printers

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Master of Science (MS) Degree in Cryptography, Informaiton Security, Content Protection, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science
  

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Proven research-and-development skills are required in cryptography, informaiton security, and content protection
  
  • Cryptography
    
    •  Knowledge of public / private key, hash, authentication, and broadcast encryption
    •  Implementation experience in the cryptographic toolkit
  • Content protection system
    
    •  Knowledge of multimedia formats, key / license management, device / user authentication, security
  • IP environment system security
    
    •  Internet content streaming protocol and secure download mechanism
  • Strong programming skills in C++, C, and Java
  • Practical knowledge of system programming (Windows, VM, Linux, and device drivers)
    

WORKSITE LOCATION

• Suwon, South Korea (relocation package available)

• Fluency in English

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Designing and developing content protection and security requirements for a home network environment and IP-enabled connected devices
• Analyzing and implementing digital rights management (DRM) systems with a domain management capability to share contents within home network devices and connected devices
• Developing and optimizing cryptographic libraries
• Designing and developing improved technologies for cryptography and content-protection systems
• IPR development and standardization
