Requirements:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) / Master of Science (MS) Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a similar technical degree
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of relevant experience and hands-on experience in leading cloud-computing initiatives
- High proficiency in Java with an emphasis on the object-oriented design pattern
- Excellent coding skills in C/C++ and Java
- Java-based open framework development skills (Spring, Hibernate, MyBatis, and some others)
- Front-end web development experience (HTML5 / CSS3, FLEX, and some others)
- Knowledge of cloud system engineering principles and fundamentals
Desired Skills and Experience:
- RESTful/SOAP API development experience
- Java-based development and integration experience with respect to enterprise applications (such as EJB, EAI, ESB, and some others)
- Experience in various computing grid / cluster technologies (such as Hadoop, Gridgain, Hazelcast, and some others) running with large distributed databases
- Experience in distributed computing and big data (such as Hadoop and NoSQL) on Cloud Infra (Amazon, Rackspace, and some others)
- Expertise in cryptography (including PKI)
- Expertise in network (TCP / IP level) architecture, performance, and security analysis

Responsibilities and Duties:
BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improving Samsung’s unique B2B Enterprise Cloud solutions
- Defining and implementing cloud architectures for use in the Samsung Cloud platform
- Developing the cloud service architecture and design
- Developing disaster recovery practices and methodologies
- Designing and building application-specific infrastructure based on requirements
- Designing and implementing B2B Enterprise applications
- Designing and implementing security models and associated practices
