• Research, design, and development of platform and system-level security solutions for Samsung’s cutting-edge mobile devices

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) / Master of Science (MS) Degree in Cryptography, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electronics Engineering, or a similar technical degree

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Development experience in kernel, system-level, and / or platform-level (such as Android) security software, as well as proficiency in C/C++ and ARM assembly
• 5+ years of relevant experience in security solution development, including hands-on experience in developing and implementing platform security using mandatory access control systems and/or discretionary access control techniques, secure boot and / or TrustZone, HDCP v2, virtualization, and encryption technologies
• High proficiency in C/C++ with an emphasis on the object-oriented design paradigm

Additionally Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in analyzing and debugging applications and libraries involving AES and RSA encryption algorithms
• Development experience in one or more mobile platforms
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership-driven, and managerial skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Improving Samsung's unique mobile security solutions: development of Samsung’s current and future mobile platforms
  
• Developing world-class security software for various mobile platforms supported by Samsung
  
• Specifying software requirements, design software, implement, test and debug
  
• Working with internal and external teams  to explore product requirements and propose solutions to challenging engineering problems
  
• Working with partners to discuss and implement software design options and resolve integration issues
  
• Contributing to the organization’s strong drive to be at the cutting edge of Internet security
