Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) / Master of Science (MS) Degree in Cryptography, Computer Science, Network Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a similar technical area
  

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Specific experience in network security software and mobile platform development:
  
• 5+ years of relevant experience in protocol development, including hands-on experience in security protocols (such as IPsec, IKE, ISAKMP, or SSL/TLS)
  
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocol
  
• High proficiency in Java or C++ with an emphasis on object-oriented design
  

Additionally Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Java or C/C++
• Experience in analyzing and debugging complex multi-threaded applications
  
• Development experience with one or more mobile platforms 
  
• Experience in algorithm development and optimization for processing and filtering data on mobile platforms
  
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership-driven, and managerial skills
  
• Excellent communication skills in English
  
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally

WORKSITE LOCATION:

• South Korea

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Improving Samsung's unique mobile security solutions: development of both current and future mobile platforms
  
• Developing world-class network security software for various mobile platforms supported by Samsung
  
• Specifying software requirements, design software, implement, test and debug
  
• Working with internal and external teams  to explore product requirements and propose solutions to challenging engineering problems
  
• Working with partners to discuss and implement software design options and resolve integration issues
  
• Contributing to the organization’s strong drive to be at the cutting edge of Internet security
