Western vendor (Telekom) is looking for Technical Support Engineer (BSS)

Responsibilities:

• Personal participation in Maintenance and Tech. support activities
• Collaboration with higher support levels to fulfill customer's technical request
• Interaction with technical departments of Customers (regular and on-demand), participation in technical meetings, workshops, negotiations
• Personal participation in Roll-out activities according to Contracts Support to Field Service activities for the corresponding Products
• Support of TAC (Technical Assistance Center) Group Leader in the following areas:
  
  • Planning of maintenance activities
  • Planning of implementation activities
  • Supervision of Customer Service Requests handling
  • Support of Field Service Activities
  • Group autonomy in terms of know-how
  •  Interaction with Customers

Experience:     

•  Minimal experience of 3 years   
•  Engineering experience with corresponding portfolio (product lines: BSS, NSS, GSS, IN)
•  Maintenance of UNIX based equipment - mandatory
•  Technical assistance and/or Field service activities performing
•  Operation of GSM network; (BSS part preferred)
•  Successful pass of trainings in English

Skills:                   

• Know-how for the corresponding BSS Products (e.g. BSC/TC/BTS/MFS/MCS/OMC-R/SGSN/GGSN and other)
• GSM/3G conceptual know-how (protocols, specifications, signaling, interworking, etc.)
• Technical background in the area of IT/telecom,
• Computer/server skills (PC - Administrator level; IP technologies understanding; Office applications; competent user of UNIX systems);
• Telecom interface trace analyzing (wireshark and etc)
• Fluent English; Russian – native
