JAVA Developer

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:

• The role of Java Developer is to develop software for the needs of Federal healthcare in the USA. As a developer you will be responsible for providing well-written software. You are able to work in a multidisciplinary team in an Agile environment, communicating in English with fellow developers. You have extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting applications and hands-on experience with projects supporting Service Oriented Architecture principles.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•  Experience in Java and J2EE (EJB3, JMS, Web Services, Spring, Servlets, JDBC, SQL, XML);
•  Experience in web-enabled applications development;
•  OOP/OOD and design patterns.

DESIRED SKILLS:

•  BPEL

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

• Project suggests developing a complex IT solution for the needs of American healthcare.  During the last few years, the healthcare in the U.S. has been influenced by the national healthcare reform, initiated in 2009 by Barack Obama. In the center of the reform - reducing the cost of healthcare and creating a universal healthcare system to extend insurance coverage to 50 million uninsured. One of the key stages of the reform is development of online Health Insurance Exchanges across the United States, where insurance companies will provide various health plans and insurance options. Consumer Health Technologies has been selected as a subcontractor to develop such Health Insurance Exchange in Maryland, USA. Successful HIX release in Q1,2013 is subject for further development for other US States.
