Role Definition

• The Sr. Functional Analyst of Business Applications will play a key role in high-profile corporate initiatives aimed driving operational excellence in Financial Operations and IT.  In this role, you will manage relationships with key stakeholders and internal customers in Finance, Sales Operations and Marketing throughout the organization World-wide.  Your experience with Enterprise Solutions and Business Intelligence Tools, coupled with your strong understanding of Accounting, Finance and Operations is your path to success in providing management with critical business information.  This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Business Applications and will be located in Moscow

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary resource for managing the Company’s ERP solutions in Russia offices by providing technical and functional support to end-users.
• Collect, review and manage end-user reported issues relating to ERP and other enterprise applications in compliance with the Company’s Internal Control Policies and SOX requirements.
• Manage and support financial consolidation and forecasting application initiatives 
• Design and develop key management reports for Senior Management and Financial Operations using Enterprise-wide reporting tools
• Prepare design documents, business cases and procedure documentation to meet SOX requirements
• Assist Sr. Manager of Business Applications with major IT implementation and integration projects involving world-wide HRIS, Spend Management, CRM and ERP applications.
• Lead and document business requirements and functional design for a variety of business operations projects.
• Work with Business Units in defining User-Acceptance Testing Processes and Requirements
• Empower end-users through instruction and functional knowledge transfer
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations to solve business problems.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or other related field.  MBA is desired, but not required.
• Strong understanding of major business processes including:
• Quote to Cash
• Procure to Pay
• Hire to Termination
• Customer Service
• Strong Written and Verbal communication skills.  English and Russian language skills required.  The ability to speak German is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP Applications, in the areas of System Migration and Configuration, ETL Processes, End-user Training, User-acceptance Testing and Issues Management.
• Expert-level proficiency with SQL Reporting Tools such as SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports or similar tools.
• Familiarity with International Accounting Standards including IFRS, GAAP (US and Russian), with specific knowledge in Software Revenue Recognition and VAT/GST standards highly desired.
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase or similar tools are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Project Management methodologies. PMP Certification a plus.
• Кnowledge of SDLC methodologies with strong skills in writing Business Requirements, Design and Functional Specifications documents.
• Must possess a valid passport and have the ability to travel about 25% per year.
