Крупная западная компания объявляет конкурс на позицию  SQL DBA Administrator 
 

Обязанности: 

  •      Responsible for the database administration for all the applications (CGS and IDS):
    • Installs and maintains databases
    • Defines, implements and manages tools for monitoring the databases
    • Monitors performance and manages parameters to provide fast query responses to the users
    • Manages database security and monitors user access
    • Defines and implements databases backup/restore strategies
    • Monitors and maintains databases including replication processes to ensure high availability and consistency across different databases
  • Check the integrity of the database deliverables provided by the suppliers
  • Take active part in the preparation and execution of Technical Tests by anticipating critical queries or processes and analyzing performance
  • Collaborate with Service Managers, Application Specialists, and technical experts in other areas (Operating System, Database, Application Server, Networking, etc.) in resolving technical issues related to databases
  • Escalate immediately to the SQL DBA Administrator Team Lead any significant risk and/or issue likely to impact any IDS/CGS Service or deliverable
  • Participate in the definition and implementation of failover solutions for databases
  • Assist Service Manager in reviewing requirements and changes requested by the customer from the database point of view
  • Collaborate with the Competence Center to assist developers on improving queries or processes when performance problems are detected
  • Collaborate and train report designers on building database queries  to ensure proper performance for the reporting
  • Provide technical support on databases to any Team responsible for the management of a Supporting Service
  • Ensure readiness of databases and replication in production environment for Test Events and Games Operation
  • Provide mission critical database support during the Olympic and Paralympic Games Operation

Требования:
  • Minimum 4 years of previous experience in database administration (SQL Server)
  • Experience in design of physical database schema, data modeling, and performance tuning
  • Ability to quickly understand complex problems and devise effective solutions
  • Good sense of service
  • English, good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural and international environment
