Team

The CL Functionality team focuses on the actual CL product, its UI and back end.

The Commercial Lines project has had very positive feedback form our users and there is a big backlog that needs to be delivered.

Role

·         Work under the guidance of architects and senior developers

·         Be part of the architecture and design efforts to provide input and review and validate designs

·         Design Implement solutions to deliver Scrum user stories and provide code review for his peers.

·         Help us maintain and add more Insurance Products to the Commercial Lines product.

·         Ensure that high quality code is being developed complying to our best practices and standards are using the appropriate tools

·         Advise on innovation opportunities and improvements in the teams function

Required

·         Experience in the .NET web stack and C#

·         Exposure in AJAX/JavaScript, JSON, j HTML, CSS, XML, XSL

·         Experience in using  one of  the JavaScript templating libraries such as –

·         Proficiency in Data Access / SQL Server in web application

·         Experience in building and consuming .NET WCF services

·         SOA architectures, SOAP & REST services 

·         XSLT transformations

·         Object Orientated Analysis & Design

·         Agile/scrum environment including TDD/BDD/unit testing and continuous integration

Desirable

·         Experience of developing for Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure.

Extranet Integration

·         HTML5 (offline storage, web sockets)

·         ODATA & Micro formats

·         Web Security approaches (OWASP top ten etc.)

·         Web Performance testing

·         Liaising with a UX designer to integrate UI designs

·         Experience in asynchronous messaging APIs and Publish-and-Subscribe architectures using any of the following technologies such as NServiceBus, RabbitMQ/AMQ, Azure AppFabric Service Bus, Windows Server AppFabric

·         Good English minimum written but ideally both oral and written
