Essential Responsibilities

• Technical · Provide technical engineering and consulting during all stages of the MES project (System specification, design, deployment, installation, commissioning & integration, training) 
• Review customer RFP (Request For Proposal) and assist in defining customer high level requirements 
• Writing specifications, design and develop complex systems to satisfy project requirements
• Assist Project Managers to schedule program milestones, delivery expectations, and to ensure the business financial targets can be met 
• Architect solutions with re-useable applications to leverage the solution across multiple opportunities to cut development time and cost 
• Provide on-site consulting to resolve specific customer issues or complete specific customer tasks.
• Participate in demonstrating product capabilities to customers and assist in sales training 
• Drive .net 3.5 C#, VB and SQL application Development, On-site installation, commissioning, and startup services 
• Working at customer site as appropriate to perform the job Project management
• Acting as prime point of contact to various customer and internal GE stakeholders.
• Deployment of the GE Intelligent Platforms Solutions in line within the customer’s installation standards requirements. 
• Able to work with other equipment suppliers to facilitate equipment integration testing. 
• Ownership and management of the commercial agreement between GE and the GE Partners. 
• Change control of subsequent implementation changes.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Engineering Degree or equivalent. Experience in Writing Functional Design Specifications. Speak English plus a second European language (Russian).
• Ability to travel (valid passport) . Ability to Lead, Mentor and Teach Engineers
• 2+ years working experience of MES applications development OR 2+ years SQL Server & Reporting, .Net C#, VB experience
• Extensive customer interface experience.
• Team player and effective communicator at all levels within an organisation.
• An understanding of installation standards. 
• Able to lead and influence a group of engineering teams.
• Flexible and able to cope with changing requirements.* Able to create and manage project plans
• Health and safety awareness. 
• Commercial awareness.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong experience using S95 standard as a consultant or application designer. Understanding of SOA concepts
• Demonstrated customer management skills with flexibility on working times
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, ability to work as part of a team
