  • We search for Junior CIS Support Engineer (ITSD) with strong knowledge and working experience in:

Job Purpose         

Provide quality corporate applications support and services maintenance to internal Customers under guidance of senior stuff.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Applications fault analysis and troubleshooting, detecting roots of problems and making decisions for resolving them. Cooperate with other directions if required to accomplish request effectively and efficiently.
  • Suggest estimates of efforts required to implement assigned tasks and accomplish the tasks according to the schedule defined by technical management.
  • Attend conference calls, technical meetings and follow the discussions; participate in project meetings
  • Maintain and document technical solutions in accordance with standards
  • Keep the work on requests in accordance with IT/CIS procedures
  • Track incidents to closure or raise them to core team or upper-management in case if it requires deeper analysis and additional advisory, cooperate with other IT directions.
  • Update corporate knowledgebase (that provides users with self-service) with the latest changes in software and corporate policies.

 

Education:

  • Master degree in Computer Science or similar

 

Experience:

  • SQL queries experience
  • MS Windows Systems
  • Experience with corporate applications maintenance and administration
  • Experience with Microsoft databases administration

 

Specialized knowledge:

  • Good experience in SQL (MS SQL Server), relational database concepts;
  • Knowledge of programming languages (.Net, Delphi) (desirable)
  • Knowledge of development tools
  • Understanding of basic RDBMS concepts
  • Knowledge of SharePoint (desirable)
  • Help Desk systems (desirable)
  • MS Windows XP, 7, MS Office and VBA scripts (desirable)
  • Basic MS Windows Servers administering (desirable)

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • English pre-intermediate level or higher
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to “get things done”
  • Work using checklists
  • Ability to work under pressure
