Currently we are looking for a Systems Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform initial investigation for every production issue appeared
• Define level where this issue could be resolved, examples of common issues below:
• Answer customer's question on how to perform one or another action in the system (L2 level, in some cases L3)
• Make a configuration change in the system (L2, Operations)
• Perform deeper investigation of issue using monitoring tools, application logs, DB data mining (L2), good knowledge of SQL requireed
• Make a custom change in the DB / run custom report by customer's request (L2)
• Be able to resolve L2 level issues from previous list himself or within L2 team
• Provide L1 with estimated resolution time for issues
• Plan production environments scaling, having all information about production issues and customer's requirements
• (optional) help to organize Operation team work in order to set up monitoring tools, as well as everything needed to efficiently perform actions from the list above.

Compulsory skills:

• Upper-intermediate level of spoken and advanced level of written English
• High-availability Linux deployments
• Rails and/or similar application servers
• Clustering (web app)
• Service monitoring
• Cloud-based services (EC2 or Rackspace, etc.)
• Deployment automation (Capistrano, etc.)

Additional skills:

• Db clustering experience (MySQL)
• Load testing
• Continuous integration
