The Online Engineer will write code that allows players to compete against each other (or play together) via a LAN or the Internet. 

 

Requirements:


  • Strong C++ programming skills;
  • Experience developing on the Windows platform using Visual Studio;
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing;
  • Understanding of client/server architectures;
  • API development and integration experience;
  • Understanding the benefits and experience with TDD

Pluses:


  • Xbox 360 and/or PS3 game console or any other non-PC programming experience;
  • Knowledge of networking and application layer protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS);
  • General familiarity with encryption and application security principles;
  • Knowledge of mySQL or other relational databases;
  • Multithreaded programming and debugging experience.
