IT Manager for Audit & Inspection Department (with 1 subordinate)

Reporting line: Deputy Head of Audit Admin Dept., Inspection Directorate.

Main mission:

• Define an IT strategy for the Audit Department, in coherence with the Bank global IT strategy, to obtain, independently, all data requested by auditors
• Manage, as a project, the development and implementation of this IT strategy, from collection of users’ requirements to the obtaining of data
• Manage the relationship with the IT department and the Department of Projects and Organization (DPO) of the Bank, by following project management standards
• Lead the Steering Committee on Analytic Data Support to timely and effectively inform management and users about progress

Main responsibilities:

• Gather auditors’ data requirements by defining, along with them, risk criteria that will be applied during their assignments
• Work closely with the IT department of the Bank, but also other departments if necessary (Risks, Permanent Control Group, etc.), to develop solutions by leveraging on existing data warehouses
• Define data certification and acceptance process with users
• Organize the certification and acceptance process
• Enhance the data model by organizing the change requests / project process with DPO and IT
• Interact efficiently with IT to organize the monitoring of incidents affecting the production of data and correction of bugs until stabilization
• Monitor closely through effective governance the studies performed by DPO and developments by IT
• Provide training and support to auditors on IT functions (such as SQL) and other skills they would need to retrieve independently data needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Higher degree in computer science/economics

Experience:

• Considerable experience in software development in Senior position (Team leader / Software architect / Database architect. 
• Knowledge of principle banking business processes
• Experience in Project Management is a plus
• Experience in Audit is a plus

Computer skills:

• Knowledge of any programming language (Java, C++, VBA, MS Access, AWK, SQL, PL/SQL etc.)
• Wide practical experience in working with RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL and others)
• Experience with reporting systems (SAS, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Oracle Reports etc.)
• Knowledge of AS/400 platform is a plus
• Knowledge of PMBOK and ITIL will be considered as an advantage
