To support the strong growth of our client in the forecasting domain, our company is now looking for Mathematical Developer to join our C++/Qt development team in Belgium.

As a Mathematical developer you will have a chance to perform the technical analysis and development of cutting edge statistical algorithms and expert systems to predict future demand. You will also act as an expert for the users of the statistical forecasting module. Next to this, you will work together with your team members on improvements of the forecasting functionality, by performing analyses and developments.

Requirements:

• Experience in Software Development;
• Working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, preferably C++, is an asset;
• Experience with stochastic forecasting techniques and algorithms is a plus;
• Master degree in a Mathematical, Scientific or Engineering field is a must; PhD in one of these fields is an advantage;
• Fluent in English;
• Analytical, creative mind and strong mathematical and statistical ability due to working on complex mathematical software;
• Great team player;
• Ability for frequent trips to Belgium.
