The Company
 
Our company, an expanding Kiev-based Development Agency with an international customer base, is seeking a Senior .NET Developer/Team Lead. You will be responsible for the development and unit testing of new and existing software applications.
 
The Projects
 
Our company is starting a number of "greenfield" projects over the next several months in the area of Document Management, Business Processes Automation. We are looking for the best people with vast technical experience and the right attitude to make these projects succeed.

Your responsibilities:
  • Design, specify, develop, test and deliver web and desktop solutions within the C# and .NET frameworks.
  • Directly influence the design and architecture of software solutions delivered by the team.
  • Create and write technical requirements and specifications.
  • Deliver high quality code according to pre-defined client requirements.
  • Perform unit and function testing of all code before release.
 
Your skills profile:
 
  • Essential technical abilities include:
    • Proven experience in developing n-tier enterprise applications using C# and . NET Framework 2. 0 or 3. 5
    • Proficient in web-based technologies including ASP. NET, MVC, (X)HTML, XML, CSS and Javascript.
    • Design and delivery of cross-browser compatible websites and applications.
    • Exposure to developing on SQL Server 2005 or later.
    • Solid working knowledge of applying OO principles.
    • Good grounding in and focus on best practice QA and software testing, incl. unit, functionality and performance testing.
    • Ability to summarise customer requirements into concise technical specifications.
  • The following additional capabilities are a distinct advantage:
    • Fiddler, WinDbg, any of the RedGate and continuous integration tools experience will make you stand out of the crowd
    • We utilize SCRUM so any experience with the process will be a big plus
    • Exposure to jQuery and related front-end technologies.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English is a necessity for this role.
  • Excellent design, analysis and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focussed attitude.
  • Deadline driven, with a high level of commercial awareness.
