Software engineer (Java Swing), с переездом в Сингапур


Key Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Take responsibility for the system component design and build, ensuring application release quality
  • Ensure developed code is fully tested through automated unit tests
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage application support handover to global support teams
  • Maintain and enhance the code base after project go-live
  • Build relationships with fellow developments managers inside/outside FM, infrastructure units etc.
  • Advocate delivery excellence, ensuring application release quality
 
Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must have an excellent grasp of multi threaded, low, latency, high throughput development in Java Swing, Java Collection Classes/Generics programming, core Java 1.4.2/1.5+, Socket level experience of sending packets using java.net components
  • Knowledge of all aspects of software design and development including the judicious use of domain specific languages and code generation techniques, Async callbacks in context of Swing EDT, experience in optimizing ThreadPools, remote procedure calls/integration to C++ via java proxies and implementation of throttling patterns to optimize and reduce latency
  • Must have a working knowledge of the design of scalable, high availability, distributed architectures including multicast (UDP) and RPC’s including reliable and guaranteed messaging delivery policies
  • Tools: Eclipse/SVN/Jenkins/Profiling (VisualVM/JProfiler)/Code Coverage Tools
  • Java WebStart application deployment experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
