The Google Technical Services (gTech) team serves as the primary point of contact for our global Sales, Business Development, and Partnerships teams to support our sales organization across all products. We provide tools so that our sales teams can focus on generating revenue and leverage our strong relationships with Googles Tech teams to enable our sales organization to do multi-solution selling, launch and support new products, and help and engage our users.

The role: Customer Solutions Technical Account Manager, Advertiser Solutions (SEEMEA) - St Petersburg

As a Customer Solutions TAM, you will serve as a first tier support contact and internal support escalation point for our clients. You'll demonstrate your expertise in our display advertising products, such as DoubleClick for Advertisers (DFA) and deliver world class support to our customers, large media-agencies and marketers. You will provide solution support such as advanced and sophisticated troubleshooting questions, technical pre-sales, product implementation and training, consulting, project- and escalation management and custom development to Google’s Display customers. You will work both remotely and on-site on a variety of product related projects. The role is primarily dedicated to the Benelux market, and you are responsible to provide the critical link between business needs and solutions from the Google Media Platforms suite. The role is customer focused with an average of 10-20% travel and requires the ability to grasp technical issues and their impact on sales opportunities and existing client-base.

Our multi-faceted professionals work together with teams throughout Google to address our partners' most pressing technology challenges - ones that have no simple answers. We create solutions for and build enduring long-term relationships with organizations that represent outstanding revenue opportunities and/or are strategically important for us to take new, world-shaping technologies to market. The team is based in London, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Stockholm.


Responsibilities:

  • Scope and collect customer requirements, provide guidance on best practices and applying technology and product knowledge to address customer's business and technology needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Buyside Platform issues directly for our revenue-generating advertiser and agency clients
  • Provide guidance and consultative technical expertise to front line General Support and Solution Consultants
  • Interface with Engineers, Product Managers and Support and Sales Managers daily to solve business and technical problems
  • Ensure project team, internal management and external customers are provided with appropriate, timely and accurate project information and status updates

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree preferred in Computer Science or Engineering

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a client-facing technical service environment, supporting web-based products
  • Some programming and data-managing experience like JavaScript, PHP, Python, HTML5, ActionScript and SQL and a general interest in technology are desirable
  • Proven ability to adapt your presentations to the technical level of the audience and comfort with presenting technical materials to small and large groups. Strong presentation skills and interest in delivering training
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter, flexible, who is motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment, with an extroverted personality and be at ease working as part of a team of highly talented professionals.
  • Fluency, written and spoken, in Russia and English.
