Requirements:

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
  • Master of Science (MS) in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
  • System programming, middleware, VOD but not essential
  • C++ (much experience if possible)
  • Web programming (Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery)

WORKSITE LOCATION
  • Suwon, South Korea

LANGUAGE
  • Good command of oral and written English
 

Responsibilities and Duties:

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing device APIs and premium VOD on TV and BD player
  • Developing device APIs for various services
  • Developing premium VOD services with plug-ins and/or CP engine
  • Developing new device APIs and extend our APIs to support multi-process
  • Developing a new premium VOD service like Netflix, Vudu and more
  • Developing new IPTV services like Verizon, AT&T and more
  • Developing new IPTV framework and Device APIs for various IPTV services

Essential job functions

  • Device API development
    • Developing new plug-ins and S/W extension framework(SEF)
    • Extending device APIs to support Flash application, WebKit, and others
    • Designing device APIs for outside developers and 3rd parties
  • Premium VOD development
    • Developing plug-ins(Device APIs) for premium VOD
    • Implementing / porting premium VOD engine to our TV and BD players
  • IPTV development
    • Developing plug-ins(Device APIs) base on IPTV framework
    • Implementing/porting ISP specific IPTV engines to our TV and BD players
