BASIC REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybernetics, Applied Mathematics, or Programming

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience in application software development or Java programming

Mandatory Skills

• C/C++/Java, Embedded Linux

Additional Skills

• Design patterns, debugging skills

WORKSITE LOCATION

• Suwon (S. Korea)

LANGUAGE

• Good command of oral and written English

Responsibilities and Duties:

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing Platform Software Solutions for DTV and AV Products
• Developing and maintaining SW platform for all Blu-ray disk (BD) products including BD home theatre and DTV/BD combo models (C/C++/Java stacks through JNI)
• Blu-ray standard creation activities and corresponding new prototype developments:
• BD-Live
• JavaME & GEM based Blu-ray network service solution
• Java security and network technology
• Support video streaming through network
• BD-Java Graphics
• HAVi 2D graphics, Bluray 3D graphics solution
• Overlaying stereoscopic graphics with 3D video
