Key Roles & Responsibilities: 


  • To build, maintain, enhance and bug fix key components of the eCommerce Strategic Framework Architecture.  
  • To bug fix, maintain and enhance business functionality for the ION Marketview Components  
  • To provide 2nd level application support and be part of support rota.  
  • To ensure the development fits within the SCB development guidelines and standards.  
  • To design and implement the interfacing to downstream risk systems. 
 
Qualifications & Skills:
 
  • Pricing Engines  
  • RFQ ,Streaming and STP Modules  
  • Experience of working with inter-dealer markets  
  • Bloomberg and ION trading systems  
  • Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps    
  • MMI Deployment and Configuration  
  • Custom component development using the API: Example: custom negotiation engine, credit checking interfaces or post-trade feeds, static data, admin etc 
  • Marketview MMI .NET customisation using the .NET open API  
  • Single Dealer Platform topology used in a global mulit-site environment.  
  • Market connectivity on inter-dealer bond markets like: eSpeed, BTEC, MTS etc and IRS markets  
  • Server side Java development  
  • eTrading/front office experience  
  • Strong analytical/numerate skills.  
  • Experience in development (using n-tier architectures) and deployment of multi-user, high performance, multi-threaded, high availability fail-safe systems.  
  • Strong technical experience in a development environment.  
  • Good relational database skills (preferably Oracle).  
  • Excellent Communication Skills.  
  • Should bring a strong sense of ownership and must be driven to deliver tasks to completion.
