BASIC REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybernetics, Applied Mathematics, or Programming

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience in UNIX, Linux system programming (C/C++), and overall DTV knowledge

Mandatory Skills

• C/C++ on embedded Linux, GCC, GDB
• Understanding various video, audio and image codecs

Additional Skills

• C/C++ programming (Linux & Windows)
• Developing experience for TV application
  
• Communication skills

WORKSITE LOCATION

• Suwon (S. Korea)

LANGUAGE

• Good command of oral and written English

Responsibilities and Duties:

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing multimedia playback pipeline
• Carrying out advance research projects associated with media processing
• Applying playback pipeline to various consumer products such as TV, DB, monitors, and etc.
• Developing & optimizing various audio & video software decoders driven by CPU & GPGPU
• Developing & optimizing various types of parses & demuxers.
• Developing & optimizing video & audio post processing modules including audio mixer and image & video visual effects
• Video mixer, synchronization among multiple players and overall performance enhancements
• Video scene & audio analysis
  UHD & HEVC
• Video effects & dynamic image effects

• Cooperating with oversea labs when executing various projects
