BASIC REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

  • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybernetics, Applied Mathematics, or Programming

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in system programming, middleware

Mandatory Skills

  • C++ (much experience if possible) / Linux programming experience

Additional Skills

  • Web programming (JavaScript)
  • Windows programming

WORKSITE LOCATION

  • Suwon (S. Korea)

LANGUAGE

  • Good command of oral and written English

Responsibilities and Duties: 

 BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing the connection protocols and interfaces between Smart TV and external accessory devices
  • Developing any solutions based on the above devices connections
  • Developing USB / Bluetooth / Wi-Fi input / output devices interfaces for Smart TV and Open APIs
  • Extending the categories of external devices which are useful for Smart TV service extension

Essential Job Functions

  • Device connections
    • USB device driver porting
    • Bluetooth stack handling
    • Other connectivity protocol implementation and use
  • Designing and implementation of the services for external device interfaces
    • Developing open APIs which are used to support Widgets and Smart TV native applications
