BASIC REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybernetics, Applied Mathematics, or Programming

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
3+ years of experience in system programming, middleware

Mandatory Skills
C++ (much experience if possible) / Linux programming experience

Additional Skills
*Web programming (JavaScript)
*Windows programming

WORKSITE LOCATION
Suwon (S. Korea)

LANGUAGE
Good command of oral and written English

Responsibilities and Duties:

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

*Developing the connection protocols and interfaces between Smart TV and external accessory devices
*Developing any solutions based on the above devices connections
*Developing USB / Bluetooth / Wi-Fi input / output devices interfaces for Smart TV and Open APIs
*Extending the categories of external devices which are useful for Smart TV service extension

Essential Job Functions
*Device connections
  -USB device driver porting
  -Bluetooth stack handling
  -Other connectivity protocol implementation and use
*Designing and implementation of the services for external device interfaces
  -Developing open APIs which are used to support Widgets and Smart TV native applications
