Description:

Intel Labs, SoC Platform Architecture Research, is looking for an individual with skills in advanced scripting and low level programming. Position requires a motivated technical candidate with Linux programming experience, willing to learn and grow personal skills as part of the skillful international team. You are proposed to work on advanced chip testing methodology and tools.

Qualifications:

You should be a day student pursuing a Master or PhD degree in the computer science domain (will also consider physics or mathematics, - please, include graduation date in your CV), with considerable practical experience in system/embedded programming and scripting in the Linux environment.

Mandatory skills:

• make, Perl or Tcl/Tk, shell scripting
• experience with gcc, gas, gdb, low-level debugging in general
• good understanding of at least one processor architecture
• good English. Must be able to read technical specs/papers, communicate by mail effectively

Additional qualifications (a plus):

• RTL design experience (VHDL/Verilog)
• practical experience with Hudson/Jenkins continuous integration server
• team development experience, familiarity with version control, bug tracking system
