Responsibilities:

• Write system documentation including technical specifications, design documentation for system development
• Strong analytical skills, proven experience on Oracle client server architecture systems development
• Comply with project life cycle methodology and adhere to IT control policies and guidelines.
• Design and implement data models, technical solutions for new/improved functionality according to the needs of Business
• Familiar with source version control tools such as Clearcase/SubVersion
• Proven Ability to deliver high quality code and mentor, train and develop less experienced developers.
• Ensure high quality development work via standards, guidelines, quality assurance reviews and testing
• Effective collaboration with Business and multiple distributed Technology support teams (non-Russia based) to deliver robustness of the application, prompt application issue resolution and ensure software change management, testing and release controls are adhered to.
• Incorporate corporate architectural standards into application design specifications.
• Provide technical support for the application.

Requirements:

• Higher education
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in technical/application development role within a bank or financial company
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL is a must
• Practical experience with Oracle Forms 6i is required
• Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
• Knowledge of SWIFT processing is highly desirable
• Understanding of Oracle Server Architecture, UNIX shell scripting, Oracle Discoverer and Microsoft VBA is a plus
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle multiple issues at once
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive approach
• English – at least intermediate – both oral and written
