Responsibilities:

• Providing reliable administration, maintenance and operation of value added voice-based services and satellite services. Ensure the services’ availability according to the scorecard.
• Implementing and integrating of new solutions for VAS voice-based services. Analysis and design of technical part for VAS-related products. Participation in projects related to VAS voice-based services as a technical expert.
• Providing 2nd level support to internal and external customers. Coordination of 3rd level support.
• Continuous improving of the existing and establishing new operational processes, platforms’ monitoring improvement, platforms’ security improvement.
• Quality assurance and capacity planning of VAS voice-based services.
• Support of VAS voice-based services network configuration changes (both IP and SS7), hardware installations and changes.

Requirements:

• Higher education (IT/electronics/telecom);
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in IT/telecom, production environment;
• Strong knowledge of GSM networking principles is a must;
• Strong knowledge of SS7 stack of protocols (ISUP, SCCP, TCAP, MAP, MTP) is a must;
• Proven experience in fail-safe carrier-grade services and/or platforms deployment is a must;
• Strong knowledge of IP stack of protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, HTTP, SMTP, SOAP) is a must;
• Strong SQL knowledge is a must;
• Good RedHat Linux and Windows 2000 Server administration skills are a must;
• Good shell scripting experience (sh, bash) is a must;
• Basic Tomcat, Apache administration experience is a must;
• Basic Oracle DBMS administration experience is a must; 
• Functional programming knowledge is a plus;
• Upper - Intermediate level of English;
