• develop and maintain the ETL process for building very large databases from vendor files (SAS, CSV)
• develop high performance data retrieval queries
• develop data quality tests
• regular communication with customer, feature-level planning and estimation

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant product development experience
• MS SQL Server (development and optimization of queries, storage organization and optimization)
• experience with large databases
• SSIS or another ETL tool
• good English verbal and written communication skills. 

The following skills and knowledge are considered as a benefit:

• Microsoft .NET framework v 3.5 – 4.0 (WPF, Silverlight, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, WCF)
• knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• hands-on experience with chemical, biochemical or medical applications.
