Task:

• Computational Optics specialist who is responsible for research and development of software for optical simulations:
• Wave optics (laser optics, holography);
• Diffraction nanooptics (FEM, FDTD etc.).

Job Responsibilities:

•  Conduct research in optical simulation area;
• Development of novel simulation techniques;
• Implementation of simulation algorithms in software tools;
• Design & Optimization of optical devices of Consumer Electronics;
• Work closely with the other research group members as a thought partner;
• Generate patent disclosures covering the algorithms, software and design created;
• Present results and demonstrations of research at internal (external) meetings. 

Qualifications :

• Excellent analytical thinking abilities;
• PhD (preferable);
• 3+ years experience in research and development within FEM or FDTD algorithm application;
• More than 2 successful FEM/FTDT based tasks solved;
• Proven expert abilities at algorithmic and s/w levels;
• Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Matlab programming;
• Experience in Optical simulation;
• Experience in Parallel Computing is a plus: GPU, Supercomputers, GRID;
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, passion, creativity, productivity and learning agility;
• Be interested in developing the world's best optical simulation systems.
