Technical Product Manager will be responsible for leading all product management activities for a large program in the area of telecom HW equipment and SW stacks for home area networking and home automation. You will become a key manager in a very ambitious long-running program, where the revolution of user experience at home will happen, with your help. Both offsite and onsite work will be present, since you will need to collaborate with all project stakeholders. You will report directly to Program Manager in Kiev office with a dotted line to Program Director at the customer's office.

Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in SW engineering or QA roles
• 2+ years in Product Manager or Requirements Engineer role
• Expert in such artifacts as PRD, SRS, SDD - should be able to demonstrate sample documents or elaborate on all details of such documentation
• Experience with SW architecture is required - ability to define subsystem API, integration architectures, data models (e.g. ER diagrams), protocol flow diagrams etc.
• Practical experience with C/C++ or Java - at least one of them, this is required for API definitions and subsystem architectures, where you will be directly involved
• Ability to lead the iteration planning meetings - experience with JIRA or other agile project management tools is required
• Good communication skills -ability to drive onsite meetings with the customer teams, communicate and document SW requirements for all stakeholders
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Ability to travel abroad at least 40% of the total work time

Preferable skills:

• Experience with Android platform and applications
• Experience with software for embedded systems
• Experience with network administration or SW development for Linux-based systems
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including OSI model and the common practices for IP networking
• Experience with REST / SOAP web services
