Senior Java Developer, Playtech Casino

Job description and tasks:

Development of Casino backend and game servers.

Requirements:

• Higher education in IT or Computer Science.
• At least 8 years prior experience in software development with Java programming language.
• At least 5 year of experience in J2EE technologies and distributed Enterprise applications, databases, message brokers. Concurrency, clustering, redundancy.
• Up to date with modern technologies, such as big data, data grids and distribution, preference to large-scale P2P / gaming / social platforms.
• Strong technical knowledge and analytical mindset, ability to develop software components independently, including design, high coding standards, and mentoring others.
• Good understanding of a product life cycle; acquaintance with Agile methodologies is beneficial.
• Ambitious, motivated and a good team player.
• Good English (written and spoken).

Beneficial skills:

• Proactive, able to contribute to the overall quality of the product by improving architecture and processes.
• Background in gaming/gambling industries is an advantage.
