Thomson Reuters Point Carbon is currently broadening its product offering in power assets fundamentals and analytics. We are looking for data analysts to maintain this service, through surveying various primary and secondary sources and entering the data into internal data system.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the database of fundamentals,
• Survey, understand and transform fundamentals and market data into useful information for our customers

Education:

• Bachelor or higher

Required Skills:

• Beginners level in understandinghow the power systems operate worldwide, and how the power markets work
• Detail-oriented individual who can meet deadlines and objectives
• Ability to work with large massive of information
• Good quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Interpersonal and communication skills in order to work in an international team
• Ability to independently drive projects/parts of larger projects
• Excellent oral and written Englsih
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools

Skills that could be a plus:

• Knowledge of additional foreign languages
• Professional or academic experience in energy markets and policy
• Experience with databases, advanced Excel skills, VBA,
• Data upload and source automation, SQL
