Responsibilities:


  • Planning and deploying a large Hadoop cluster
  • Designing and managing HDFS directory structure
  • Participation in operational components design
  • Participation in HDFS, MapReduce and Hive operations


Required Qualification and Skills:


  • Experience with system administration (distributed, data-intensive systems)
  • Interest for professional growth on field of Big Data
  • Proficient Java & JEE software engineering experience (3+ years): Java language and best practices, JEE APIs, build and deployment process and tools for Java/JEE applications
  • Analytical mindset, attention to details, orientation on results
  • Average or above written and spoken English


Desired Qualification and Skills:


  • Experience running large Hadoop installations
