Luxoft, the global IT outsourcing company providing software development services, opens the position in St.Petersburg.

The project is built on base of the latest technologies and solutions (for example grid computing, in-memory cache, business intelligence, etc) mixed with traditional ones (Java core, AJAX, JMS, BI, Distributed Cache)

SL3 (support 3 level) team is providing extended support of the system.
 

Job Responsibilities:

• As a support engineer, candidate will have to provide top level technical SL3 support for derivatives clearing department of the foreign bank.
• Position includes communication with business and IT personnel across the world, as well as investigation and resolving issues with various Java applications, Unix servers and Oracle databases, that are escalated to the SL3 group. 
• Successful candidate should demonstrate strong technical background and at the same time be client oriented as much as possible.

Candidate Requirements:

• Unix/Linux systems experience as advanced user 3+ years
  
• Enterprise database systems (Oracle preferable) 3+ years
• Technical Support/Client services/Software Implementation engineer or similar position 3+ years
• Upper-Intermediate or above English

Additional Skills / Knowledge:

• Unix systems administration 1+ years
• Oracle DBA 1+ years
• Java software development 1+ years
• Experience as a trader 1+ years
