Responsibilities

• Development of Android based apps
• Detailed documentation of requirements and implementation
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project leads on technical decisions
• Learn and adhere to company coding standards and conventions
• Development of software following SDLC industry best practice development and security guidelines
• Guided database design, implementation, and query development
• Integration with cloud based systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with J2ME
• Excellent knowledge of the Android SDK and multi-threaded development
• Successful submission of at least one application to the Google market
• Strong experiencing developing Java applications with unit testing and a clean separation of concerns.
• Solid problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Fast-learner and self-starter
• Experience with web service communication using XML and JSON
• Knowledge of SQLite and a working knowledge of SQL

• HTML/Javascript
• 5 years Java experience
• Mobile application UI design experience
• Integration with .NET platforms
