GlobalLogic Ukraine is opening a position of Senior Java Engineer to work on a full-time basis
in Kyiv office.
 
Project description
You will be joining the Data engineering team, in charge of Vast Platform for Large – Scale Data
Processing, Analysis of vast amounts of user generated data (web logs) and Vertical Search. You
will help with keeping Vast's big data advantages, such as our 6 million car listings with the best
sorting, market and user traffic analytics data from running some of the biggest Automotive search
sites in US for years.
 
 
Required Skills:
  • You should have at least 4 years of experience in commercial product development using severalof the following skills and technologies:
    • Algorithms, data structures and design patterns
    • Java Core
    • Multi-threading
    • Spring
    • Multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux);
    • Development process tools: IDE's, compilers, debuggers, profilers, version control  systems, code coverage and automated testing tools• At least intermediate level of English
  • As a plus you should have experience with
  • Search engine (Lucene)
  • Distributed computing technology (Hadoop)
  • Node.js
  • Functional languages (Scala)
  • Other programming languages (C/C++, PHP, etc.)
