GlobalLogic is looking for Senior Unix/Linux/Java administrator experience for its Kyiv office.

Job responsibilities:

• Administration of corporate Linux and Unix servers (Install, upgrade, and maintain UNIX operating systems);
• Administration, upgrade of Atlassian Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo, Fisheye/Crucible, performance troubleshooting, integration with Active Directory; 
• Administration of Subversion, git, Mercurial; 
• Maintain backups (Bacula); 
• Administration of Monitoring systems (munin, mrtg, nagios); 
• Administration of MySQL, replication, backup; 
• Process automation using PHP, Perl; 
• Data Center maintenance (servers' hardware, racks); 
• Virtualization infrastructure administration (VMWare vSphere, ESXi) – backup role; 
• SAN infrastructure support – backup role; 
• Write and maintain documentation for the responsibility area; 
• Participation in strategic planning of infrastructure development. 

Required skills:

• 3+ years of Data Center operations experience; 
• 3+ years of UNIX/Linux Systems strong knowledge, administration experience; 
• Linux (Centos,etc), FreeBSD, performance monitoring; 
• Ability to write/maintain/debug shellscripts (perl, ksh, sh); 
• NAS good knowledge, administrationexperience (CIFS, NFS); 
• LAN/WAN troubleshooting experience; 
• Web services: Apache Tomcat + Apachehttpd; 
• Network services: Samba, DNS (bind),Proftpd, basic Active Directory; 
• SQL services: MySQL, PosgreSQL, basicMS SQL; 
• Backup: Bacula etc; 
• Willingness and ability to plan and perform tasks before the deadline; 
• Follows and understand IT processes. Experience in identifying and implementing processes; 
• Ability to provide technical training to end users and other IT Stuff; 
• Ambition to learn new systems, procedures, techniques in a short period of time; 
• Successful candidates must have the ability to work independently or within an existing team of IT professionals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Upper - intermediate level in writing, reading, speaking English
• Self-managing, performs tasks without supervision

Desired skills:

• Atlassian Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo,Fisheye/Crucible; 
• Virtualization technology administration experience: VMWare vSphere 3.5, 4.1; 
• SAN solutions experience (FC, iSCSI); 
• FC Storage systems experience (low-end,middle range); 
• RAID direct attach storage (DAS).
