Responsibilities:

• Design of entire software architecture and solid contribution to overall system concepts for the reliability- and safety-critical projects
• Development of concepts to be implemented in system design to guarantee stability in case of software and hardware faults
• Development of research strategies in collaboration with university partners
• Cooperation with colleagues in Russia and other countries

Requirements:

• Solid experience in design and programming for reliability- and safety-critical systems
• Expert knowledge of modern software and system architectures and platforms (Solaris, QNX, VxWorks, Linux)
• Experience with verification procedures according to domain-related stan­dards (e.g. automation, train or avionics)
• Master in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
• PhD on software architectures is a plus at least 5 years of working experience related to above topics
• fluent in spoken and written English
