Project description:

• The software is one of the worldwide best known “all in one” retail application suites that helps retailers to organize, drive and control their standalone stores or geographically distributed retail networks. The product is having tens of thousands installations around the globe. Supporting a comprehensive range of retail activities, it includes the POS functionality, self-checkout solutions, mobile POS, master POS, client / server configuration or web application, management of promotions and comprehensive BI capabilities. The product architecture provides transparent installation and configuration facilities, high level of extensibility, scalable data storage, wide range of data exchange options, open interfaces and plug-in concept.

Intellias teams are tightly integrated into the international organization of the customer and participate in both the core engineering (extension of software functions) and the implementation of projects for end-customers in EU and UK regions (Scandinavia, Great Britain, France, Germany and Benelux).

Requirements:

• Profound knowledge of OOP / OOAD / UML
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture [Integration] patterns and practical experience in their implementation. Knowledge of Archimate notation is an advantage
• Expertise in .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET, WCF, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, WinForms, etc.), minimum of 3 years work experience
• Deep knowledge of RDBMS (and especially MS SQL) and excellent DB programming skills
• Solid experience with configuration management for big products
• Knowledge of software engineering processes (Scrum/Agile, RUP, Waterfall or similar) and appropriate tools
• Requirements / guidelines management skills
• At least upper-intermediate English and good business communication skills (sufficient level to effectively communicate with end-customers)
• Ability to work with technical documentation (architecture specs, SRS, estimates, etc.)
• Excellent soft skills / quick learners

Preferred skills:

• Retail business domain know-how
• Experience with WePOS / POSReady
• Experience with Crystal Reports
• Knowledge / experience with Java EE
